Powerway’s Cohesia 8.1 Customer Support Forum is a one-hour question and answer session free to all Cohesia software users to submit questions in an open forum. This provides time to further explain the functionality of the Cohesia software. To make this session as productive as possible to all in attendance, we ask that questions be limited to Cohesia 8.1 product functionality and not directed towards specific process issues related to your company.

Part-Specific Requirements Definition is a two-hour course for design, quality, procurement or manufacturing engineers involved in the definition of part specific requirements for the manufacturing source. This detailed list of product characteristics is a critical part of a technical data package and is designed to be complementary to the CAD drawing or 3-D model. Participants will become adept in the creation and editing of the requirements list, including dimensions, specifications, notes, and attachments that must be shared within the internal or distributed manufacturing environment.

FAI-S: Online Submission of AS9102 First Article Reports Webinar
Online Submission of AS9102 First Article Reports is a 90 minute course for a quality engineer, quality inspector or manufacturing engineer responsible for entering inspection results for AS9102 FAI Reports. This course provides the basics of entering inspection and process results in the Cohesia 8.1 application. The course also details how to enter material and special process information, along with functional testing dat a in Form 2. This also includes instruction in the uploading of attachments. The course concludes with creating a Partial First Article when only some of the requirements change due to a drawing revision or manufacturing modification.

FAI-A: Online Approval of AS9102 FAI Reports Webinar
Review and Approve AS9102 FAI Reports is a one-hour course for supply chain quality engineers who sign off on the AS9102 form. This course provides the basics of accessing and reviewing the AS9102 document. Additionally, the process of approval, or dispositioning for additional work by the supplier, is covered. Finally, using the application as a collaboration tool will also be discussed.

BAL: Applying Cohesia 8.1 Balloon Tool Webinar
The process to identify dimensional requirements on engineering drawings is presented in this one-hour class using Powerway’s Cohesia 8.1 Balloon Tool. Starting from engineering drawings in PDF or TIF formats, dimensional and note requirements are identified, marked with a balloon, and can be further defined. This list of requirements is then used to create an AS9102 First Article Inspection report.
