The Cohesia 8.1 web-based characteristic management tools have been released with new features to accelerate the definition of part-specific master specifications and the creation of AS9102 First Article reports. GD&T data contained on CAD drawings or spreadsheets can be uploaded and included on required compliance forms. "As built" data from the distributed, global supply chain is useful to product designers and program managers.

Characteristic Identification

The Balloon Tool enables clear identification of critical dimensions, notes, and references on old and new engineering drawings. This drawing markup tool can be used by production planners and quality engineers to ensure no engineering requirements are missed and can be viewed and included in required compliance documents.
